Every April, Women2Women, a special program of GRCA, hosts its Conference & Expo. The event brings together 400+ attendees for both personal and professional development, the opportunity to connect with other women and mentorship, inspiration and a look at female-owned businesses here in Greater Reading.
This day meets every part of the program’s mission of connecting women, and offering a forum for you to gain knowledge, build strategic alliances and foster your personal potential and career advancement!

- ATHENA
Women2Women is proud to host the ATHENA® Award Program during its annual Conference & Expo. The award celebrates the potential of all women/men as members and leaders of the community and recognizes those who support them. The ATHENA® Leadership Award is presented to a woman/man who is honored for professional excellence, community service and for actively assisting women in their attainment of professional excellence and leadership skills. - EmpowHER
The EmpowHER Award celebrates the next generation of women leaders in Berks County, recognizing a young woman who exemplifies the values of Women2Women: leadership, empowerment, community impact, and the pursuit of excellence. This award is open to high school, college, and graduate students who have demonstrated a commitment to inspiring others, taking initiative, and driving positive change in their schools, communities, or personal networks. The recipient of the EmpowHER Award is not only a leader today but a visionary for tomorrow, someone who will continue to break barriers, uplift others, and make a lasting impact in their chosen field and community. - Mujer
As a celebration of the vibrant diversity and impact of women in Berks and Greater Reading, the Annual De Mujer a Mujer Awards Ceremony is held each June where three exceptional women are honored for their leadership, service, and entrepreneurial spirit through the following awards:- Community Impact Award
Presented to a woman who has demonstrated outstanding leadership and a deep commitment to making a positive difference in the Reading and Berks County community. - Young Changemaker Award
Awarded to a young woman between the ages of 18-25 who exhibits leadership, passion, and a strong dedication to her community. She shows great promise—or is already emerging—as one of the next generation of leaders in Berks County. - Small Business Owner Award
Recognizes a woman business owner whose company is thriving and making a meaningful impact in the community. The business must be based in the Greater Reading/Berks County region.

Evening of Empowerment

Women2Women’s annual Evening of Empowerment is a professionally and personally inspiring event that brings together hundreds of local women. Not only does it feature a nationally known keynote speaker, but guests also are treated to food, drinks and the opportunity to connect with fellow attendees. Previous Evening of Empowerment speakers have included Elizabeth Smart, Janice Kaplan, Kathrine Switzer, Marissa Orr, Michelle Poler, Liz Murray and Lisa Sun.
