By Audrey Krupiak, Digital Marketing Coordinator
We at GRCA have been busy the last few months working on the launch of a brand-new website! We are delighted to reveal the finished product.
GRCA was formed in 2017 bringing together three existing business organizations that all served the Greater Reading community: Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Greater Reading Economic Partnership, and Greater Berks Development Fund. After a few years of working together under one umbrella organization we felt it was time for a new website that better spoke to the work that we do as an organization.
The new website strategically identifies the four main pillars of our organization:
- Development (Economic Development, Workforce Development, Real Estate Development)
- Membership
- Advocacy
- Events/Programming
With each pillar identified throughout the website in its own color the sections will be easier to navigate. (Although there may have been some verbal attacks on which department was going to take Penn State blue. We can assure you no GRCA staff members were hurt during the coloring assigning process.) The marketing department will continue to use the assigned pillar colors in communications going forward.
Many of our staff members worked side by side with GRCA member, Launch DM, on the new website design. We have streamlined our menus and provided clear navigation for a user-friendly experience. The new website features a responsive design that makes viewing our website on any platform easy to read and navigate.
“When we started this project, Audrey and I said we want a fresh, clean and white website where users can come and find exactly what they are looking for. I think this new website design is that and more! We hope you like what you see,” Leah Fassnacht, GRCA Director of Communications & Marketing.
With the entire business community in mind, the new website contains additional features to provide better access to GRCA’s resources and information. GRCA’s website content is available in both English and Spanish. It has also been built with accessibility in mind and meets all the requirements for compliance.
We encourage you to explore the new website. We hope you are as pleased with the results as we are.
