What does your business need to be something greater?
For over seventy years, the Greater Berks Development Fund, an affiliate of GRCAC, has helped businesses get the money they need to start, grow, and expand. We are proud that the loan programs we work with promote economic development. With our other GRCA affiliate, the Greater Reading Economic Partnership, and numerous other Berks County partners, we help to grow local businesses, create and retain jobs, and stimulate local communities.
Our Training Department boasts twenty years of experience providing the best professional development offerings in our area. Whether you’re looking to grow your own talent, prevent attrition, or develop your own leadership skills, our programs give you the tools you need to grow your business and improve your bottom line.
In Berks and beyond, workforce concerns are paramount. GRCA is employing a three part strategy- short-term workforce development focusing on unskilled and semi-skilled workers; reforming our K-12 educational system with education and business partners; and talent attraction and retention.
From financing to special programs geared towards the needs of small businesses, GRCA is here to help the large—and growing—small business community in our region.
Our signature programs, Women2Women and the Berks Family Business Alliance, provide the resources individuals and businesses alike need to speak to like-minded individuals, build a network and succeed.
