Another summer is almost underway and there is plenty of fun to be had. If you are as anxious as I am to get out and experience things again, try doing that by supporting a few Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA) members. So, bust out the sunnies and your sunscreen and give these businesses a visit.
Hawk Mountain Sanctuary Association | hawkmountain.org
Take a hike on Hawk Mountain’s eight miles of trails. Experience some of the most majestic views this area has to offer, and while you’re there, get some great looks at raptors. These birds of prey are some of largest and most charismatic in the world. Pack your binoculars and bring a few adventurous friends. After a cancelled 2020 season, the Reading Fightin Phils are back on the diamond. Take in America’s favorite pastime at FirstEnergy Stadium in Reading. Looking for a nice way to treat your employees? Schedule a group outing in one of the stadium’s numerous hospitality areas where a buffet is included. Tickets are available in single-game or multi-game packages. The club is following all current CDC guidelines.

With all the money you’ll save by utilizing the library, you can support another small business. And if you’re able, make a donation. Libraries are a great resource for the community, and if any business deserves your support, it’s them.
