The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA) is excited to announce a new member-exclusive health and benefits program in partnership with Pennsylvania Chamber Insurance, providing GRCA members with access to health insurance and employee benefits solutions created to meet the needs of businesses of all sizes, including sole proprietors.
Through the partnership, GRCA members can explore a range of medical benefits, as well as dental, vision, life, disability and other specialty coverages. The program offers access to experienced benefits professionals who can provide personalized assistance with plan options, enrollment and ongoing support.
The program is particularly valuable for small businesses and sole proprietors, who may face unique challenges when seeking affordable, comprehensive health coverage.
“Small businesses make up a significant portion of our membership and finding ways to provide meaningful resources that help them succeed is always a priority for GRCA,” said Dallan Yoh, Director of Membership at GRCA. “Health insurance can be a significant challenge for a small business owner, especially for someone operating as a sole proprietor. This program gives our members another resource to explore when it comes to finding coverage that works for their business and their needs.”
In addition to health insurance options, Pennsylvania Chamber Insurance offers benefits including dental, vision, life and disability coverage, with most offerings requiring no minimum participation. Members also have access to one-on-one employee enrollment services and support from a licensed service and support team with extensive healthcare experience.
The partnership also provides access to compliance resources to help businesses navigate employee benefits requirements, including assistance with required notices, compliance policies and information related to ERISA, COBRA, the Affordable Care Act, HIPAA and FMLA.
“The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance and the PA Chamber share a common belief that strong communities are built by strong employers. Through this partnership, we are bringing together the power of our chamber networks to help small businesses access better healthcare solutions, stronger resources and a louder voice in shaping the future of healthcare in Pennsylvania. By working together, we can create meaningful change that benefits employers, employees and communities across the Commonwealth,” said Mark Weber, President, PA Chamber Insurance.
