There are multiple ways you can increase your digital presence with a Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA) membership. Your company’s digital presence is how your business appears online when searched on the internet. Increasing your digital presence can lead to more connections, customers and sales.
1. Utilize Your Member Information Center
All GRCA members have access to the Member Information Center (MIC) via a username and password. Members have the ability update or add to their member listing. We recommend adding information about your company, business hours, the website, social media profiles, images and contact information. An updated business listing allows members and the Greater Reading community all the information they need about your business.
Once logged into your MIC, you will have access to list/publish the following items:
- Press Releases: Be sure to add your press releases and news to the MIC for maximum exposure in Chamber communications.
- Jobs: If you are currently hiring post your job to the jobs section of the MIC to increase the number of people seeing the job description.
- Hot Deals: If your company has a current special or sale that you would like to broadcast to other members or the community, post it to the hot deals section in the MIC.
Have questions on how to access your MIC account? Contact Membership Specialist Melissa Hassler at 610-898-7784.
2. Submit a Chamber Spotlight Feature
Chamber Spotlight is an opportunity that GRCA provides members — starting at the Catalyst level and for member non-profits — to share their story through text and images/video. It is a feature story about your business that can be told in written editorial (with visuals) or a video. Your Chamber Spotlight is published on GRCA’s website and shared via our Member Minute e-newsletter.
Chamber Spotlights may be submitted via email to Director of Membership Julie Larison
3. Choose to do a Social Takeover on GRCA’s Facebook
GRCA members — starting at the Innovator level — have the opportunity to do a social takeover on GRCA’s Facebook page. By cashing in on this GRCA member benefit, you can broadcast your message to our 5,600+ Facebook followers. A social take over consists of either going Live on Facebook or providing images and messages for GRCA to post to its Facebook page.
If are interested in a social media takeover and it is not part of your membership package, a takeover is available at a discounted advertising rate. For more information, visit our Sponsorship & Advertising page.
4. Maintain an Active Social Media Presence
GRCA actively follows all its members on multiple social media channels. Daily we share member’s social posts via our Instagram and Facebook stories further amplifying their message to our 7,500+ followers on those platforms. We enjoy sharing our members events and news across our social channels to help you get the most out of your membership.
5. Share Your News with Us
Let us help you announce your anniversaries, open houses/ribbon cuttings, and more in our Member Minute e-newsletter, delivered to an audience of more than 3,500. Use the two forms on our Share your News page to submit information on your upcoming event or company news!
6. Pitch us a Story for Commerce Quarterly
Commerce Quarterly is a quarterly publication written by GRCA members and for GRCA members. This publication is available in both a digital and printed format. Do you have a story idea or want your company to be featured in an upcoming edition of Commerce Quarterly? Contact GRCA’s Director of Communications and Marketing, Leah Fassnacht, 610.898.7780, to share your idea for consideration.
7. Highlight Your Business by Advertising with Us
GRCA offers its members discounted rates on high-profile, cost-effective ways to digitally advertise. Digital advertising is available via our member e-newsletters, social media or website. To learn more about these exclusive opportunities, visit our Sponsorship & Advertising page.
